Winter Enrichment Courses
Registration opens December 5 and closes December 12.Chess:Looking for a challenge in chess or want to know HOW to play? This is the class for you! Beginners to experts are welcome. Join Mr. Sartori in this 6 week class where you will learn opening strategy, key principles, chess notation, and have some fun! Get ready for a chess tournament at the end of the session too.Grades 2-8 Dates: Thursdays....Jan 15, 29 Feb 5, 12, 26, Mar 5 (no class on Jan. 22 and Feb 19)
Cost: $45.00Snowshoes:Join Mrs. Tracy in a 4-week class to explore snowshoeing. Snowshoeing offers an exciting opportunity to enjoy the beautiful outdoors with minimal technical skill. Students will learn about appropriate gear, as well as how to safely navigate snowshoe trails. Although this course is designed to teach foundational snowshoeing skills to beginners, all experience levels are welcome. No snowshoeing experience required. Registration opens December 5 and closes March 20 or when full.Pickleball:Join Mrs. Tracy in a 4-week class to explore Pickleball. all experience levels are welcome. No experience required. Cost includes use of all equipment! On the last class students will walk after school to the pickleball courts at Town center park to use the pickle ball courts. More details will come in your confirmation email.Grades 2-6
